Zendaya Defends Teen Who Got in Trouble for Copying Provocative Outfit

Zendaya can basically do no wrong on the red carpet. The 20-year-old always slays the style game, whether she’s at a fancy AF award show, or simply strutting her stuff down the street, which is why she’s a fashion inspiration to countless people.

A teen named Hannah Whitley was particularly inspired by one of Z’s recent ~casual~ ensembles, and decided to replicate the look for her first day of school. The girl put on a pair of high-waisted, wide-leg pants, a striped tank top and some pointy black flats and walked into her senior year of high school looking absolutely FABULOUS! Unfortunately, her principal didn’t feel the same. For some reason, Hannah got a dress code violation because the outfit was deemed “too provocative” for school. Ummm…we’re sorry — WHAT?!

The Disney Channel actress saw that the teenager got in trouble for her bomb dot com ensemble and jumped to her defense.

She tweeted, “Provocative….where??? You look amazing,” along with a couple hearts.

Hannah is comedienne Kim Whitley‘s niece, so her aunt’s public words may have been the reason the K.C. Undercover star saw the OG tweet in the first place.

“Your principal was hating because she wanted your shoes,” the 56-year-old funny-woman tweeted before Z’s response. “But you do look like Zendaya!! Well done niece.”

Maybe the girl’s school has a no-shoulder policy? Because, ya know, those body parts are ~soOoOoOoOoOo~ distracting to male students. *rolls eyes* *questions society* *hates everything*
