Fans Concerned About Zayn Malik’s Health After Possible Weight Loss
Zayn Malik has been teasing new music for several weeks now and as each day passes we’re (hopefully) getting closer to a new release. The 25-year-old was spotted filming a music video in Miami, Florida recently and while fans were obviously super excited to see movement in his career, they also noticed that he is looking much skinnier than normal. And seeing as he struggled with an eating disorder in the past, this is causing them to be concerned for his health.
Here’s what the “Dusk Till Dawn” singer looked like earlier this week:

And here’s what he looked like at the 2018 Grammy Awards on January 28:
He’s wearing different clothing, obviously, but some supporters still think they see a stark difference and are asking if everything is okay.

Zayn fans needs to chill out a little bit if anyone says that zayn is so skinny which he actually is recently,His body is naturally skinny we all know that but recently he became way too skinny so we are all concerned about his health..we just wanna see him healthy

Others, however, think it’s incredibly insensitive to judge someone’s weight (skinny-shaming is a thing, after all) — ESPECIALLY someone who has struggled with eating issues in the past.
Comments about Zayn's weight when he KNOWS he's skinny and is touchy about it, is kinda the worst thing stan twitter can do to somebody who's finally gaining some confidence and becoming comfortable in his own skin

Zayn is fine, he doesn't your fake ass concern about his health. He also doesn't need you complimenting him then skinny shaming him to make your point. Disgusting, how some people feel the need to tell Zayn what to do, focus on your weight and mind your own business. pic.twitter.com/l7Aqyon2dp

I have seen so much bodyshaming tweets aimed at zayn..can y'all stop? Its not cute. Besides slim and skinny is zayns natural body type. Its not sonething he can change and first of all why should he try to change? Y'all are so ugly. I am done with you.

zayn has always been skinny. maybe he just has a high metabolism and not eating the amount of calories his body needs to gain weight. not everybody is sick or on drugs

“Something I’ve never talked about in public before, but which I have come to terms with since leaving the band, is that I was suffering from an eating disorder,” he wrote in his autobiography, Zayn, which was released in November 2016. “I’d just go for days — sometimes two or three days straight — without eating anything at all. It got quite serious, although at the time I didn’t recognize it for what it was.”
The British crooner went on to say things got really bad in late 2014.
He continued, “When I look back at images of myself…before the final tour, I can see how ill I was. The workload and the pace of life on the road put together with the pressures and strains of everything going on within the band had badly affected my eating habits.”
Fortunately, he sought help and was able to get his eating disorder under control.
