Zayn Malik Urged to Commit Suicide After Admitting to Mental Disorder
The 23-year-old publicly spoke about his battle with mental illness for the first time in June 2015.
“Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me. With the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career,” he wrote about his decision to cancel a major solo performance.
While people like his girlfriend Gigi Hadid and many fans supported him through his “extreme anxiety,” others chose to ignore his suffering and sent messages that encouraged him to kill himself.

But no matter how much disgusting hate the former One Direction singer gets on social media, he refuses to keep his mouth shut and his his problems.
“Anxiety is something people don’t necessarily want to advertise because it’s seen, in a way, like a weakness. I speak about it so that people understand that it doesn’t matter what level of success you have, where you’re from, who you are, what sex you are, what you do — you can still experience these things.”
Keep your head up, Z!
