YouTube Gamer McSkillet Crashes Car, Killing Himself & Two Other People
YouTube gamer Trevor “McSkillet” Heitmann is dead after causing a high-speed car accident that also killed two other people. According to the Los Angeles Times, the 18-year-old YouTuber drove his McLaren 650S sports car the wrong way down a San Diego highway going over 100MPH on Thursday, August 23. He collided with an oncoming SUV, which was carrying a 43-year-old woman and her 12-year-old daughter, causing both vehicles to go up in flames and resulting in all three passengers’ deaths. A fourth person was seriously injured, as well, but is expected to survive.
A person who witnessed the crash told the outlet, “People were running around…and someone was on the ground. They were trying to help him. H was raising his hand and they were just surrounding him.”

Trevor made custom “skins” for guns and knives in the first-person shooter video game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), but was reportedly banned from selling them for allegedly being involved in a skin-gambling website. He allegedly lost hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result, which caused the mental health problems to escalate.
An incident took place at Ashley Falls School in San Diego about 30 minutes before the where a car matching the description of Trevor’s, according to a school spokesperson, “drove through the side gate and an individual got out of the car and threw an item at a door, breaking a window.”
People reports that the California Highway Patrol is investigating if this was an intentional crash, or if the tragedy was accidental.
