8 Actresses Who Shot Really Explicit Sex Scenes Outside Their YA Movies
Too often, we encounter celebrities who hate filming their sex scenes. When you think about it, it’s hard for anyone to really enjoy them ’cause, like… how would you feel if you were supposed to be faking intimacy with someone while hundreds of people were watching you? Yeah, exactly. Jennifer Lawrence is no different.
Up until last year, the 25-year-old Hunger Games actress managed to get through her entire acting career without needing to film the dreaded love scene. That is, until she shot her sci-fi film, Passengers, with Chris Pratt. Like many before her, she described the situation as “weird.” And the Guardians of the Galaxy actor having a wife at home didn’t help matters. She thought, “‘What have I done? I don’t know.’ He was married, and it was going to be my first time kissing a married man and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach.”
She added, “I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that. So I called my mom and I was like, ‘Will you just tell me it’s okay?’ It was just very vulnerable. That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.”
Nevertheless, she got through it, like co-star Liam Hemsworth and these other YA actors, as well as at least eight of her fellow YA actresses:
Shailene is a pro when it comes to losing her virginity on the big and small screens. Two of those times, she lost it in her YA films, which is quite rare. (Once in The Fault in Our Stars, the other time was in Insurgent.)
But she's done it outside her YA flicks as well. The first time in 2013's The Spectacular Now with Divergent co-star Miles Teller. Then with Shiloh Fernandez in 2014's White Bird in a Blizzard.
Like we said, PRO.
