The Must-See First Acting Jobs of the X-Men: Days of Future Past Cast Members
We're officially one week away from X-Men: Days of Future Past hitting the big screen (yay!) so to celebrate, we thought we'd do a little time warp of our own since today is Flashback Friday after all.
The movie has a time-travel element, so what better way to express that than by reliving the first acting gigs of all its major stars. Now, some of the older actors were more tricky to track down, so we stuck with some people who've been acting for less than a few decades.
Check out the first acting gigs of the X-Men: Days of Future Past cast members by scrolling below!
1. Jennifer Lawrence (Raven Darkholme/Mystique)
J-Law's very first role was playing a mascot on the show Monk. Just take a look.
2. Nicholas Hoult (Hank McCoy/Beast)
Though Nick's big break came with the 2002 flick About a Boy, he also had a part in the 1996 movie Intimate Relations where he played a character named Bobby. We couldn't find a clip but here's a GIF to hold you over.
3. Peter Dinklakge (Bolivar Trask)
Peter starred in a (weird) ensemble film calling Living in Oblivion with Steve Buscemi, Catherine Keener, Durmet Mulroney, and more. The 1995 movie centered on a film-making team who was basically working with no budget, and he played a character named Tito. Fast forward to 1:41 to see Peter VERY briefly.
4. Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr/Young Magneto)
In 2001, Michael appeared on three episodes of the show Hearts and Bones where he played a character named Hermann. Fast forward to :38 to see Michael in action.
5. James McAvoy (Charles Xavier)
James made his acting debut in the 1995 flick The Near Room where he played a character named Kevin. FF to 1:25 to see Kevin but just a warning — there's a bit of language.
6. Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat)
In 1997, Ellen starred in a TV movie called Pit Pony which was eventually turned into a TV series that ran from 1999 to 2000, playing a character named Maggie MacLean. Check it out below!
7. Hugh Jackman (Logan/Wolverine)
Officially — or according to IMDB, at least — Hugh's first acting gig was on a show called Law of the Land in 1994, but we couldn't find a clip. So, as a runner up option, here's a clip from the 1995 show he was on called Correlli where he played a troubled guy named Kevin Jones.
8. Evan Peters (Pietro Maximoff / Quicksilver)
In 2004, Evan starred in a movie called Clipping Adam where he played the titular character. Watch the trailer!
