The 12 Worst Weddings in the History of Television
Weddings are meant to be joyous occasions. They mark what’s supposed to be the beginning of a lifelong unity between two people who are in love. But, in the world of entertainment, that’s basically never the case (unless you’re Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddie Prinze, Jr., who epitomize the ’90s and are going to stay together for the rest of their lives, but we digress). Especially in the world of television.
Sometimes, OTPs actually fulfill fan dreams and get married before the end of the show, like Brittana and Klaine on Glee, but the wedding is a BUST. Other times, the weddings are so horrifyingly disgusting, you’ll never envision yourself in a white dress again… because that dress will be red by the end of the night… because of the bloodbath that will ensue. (If you watch Game of Thrones, then you’ll know what we’re talking about.) Here, for your viewing displeasure, are the 12 worst weddings in the history of television:
Santana Lopez & Brittany Pierce
Alright, don't freak out, but Santana and Brittany's wedding wasn't as picture perfect as it seemed. Yes, it was beautiful and they both looked amazing, but when you really think about it, having a joint wedding with Kurt and Blaine kind of sucked.
It was a big step to show a same-sex wedding on TV, which wasn't a surprise from Glee, but it was annoying that they weren't separate from one another. They walked down the aisle with the two grooms and stood side by side. It was just too much of a stretch. Like, why couldn't it just be THEIR day?
