8 of the Biggest Movie Fails in 2015 That Made You Hardcore Cringe
When a major actor signs on to a Hollywood flick, the buzz starts immediately. Serious A-listers can choose to star in just about any movie they want, so when someone like Mila Kunis announces she’s joining a cast, it’s a BIG deal. Star power usually ensures that a movie will kill it at the box office. KEYWORD: Usually. Every year, there are teen films that are supposed to slay at the box office and instead become total embarrassments. (The movie fails of 2014 are so cringeworthy.)
We’ll count our blessings — we had some incredible movies this year, from Avengers: Age of Ultron to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2. But even those winners can’t totally make up for some of the seriously awful flops of 2015. Some of our favorite stars, like Miles Teller, Channing Tatum and Zac Efron suffered serious blows this year. We’re guessing their New Year’s resolutions include “Don’t star in any movies that lose a hundred million dollars at the box office.” Good luck in 2016, guys!
BUDGET: $190 million
EARNED: $93 million
Losing a hundred million dollars is a bummer, but George Clooney has his beautiful wife and Britt Robertson has Dylan O'Brien, so we're pretty sure they're fine.
