6 Britt Robertson Television Series That Lasted Only One Season
The curse of Britt Robertson has struck again! We love the actress, but girl has the WORST track record in the biz. Think about it: The Space Between Us, A Dog’s Purpose, Mr. Church, Mother’s Day, Jack Goes Home, Tomorrowland, The Longest Ride, Cake, Delivery Man, White Rabbit — those are 10 of her most recent movies, and not one of them has over a 50% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Not one.
And those are just her movies; think of her television series! The only one she’s led that’s lasted more than one season is The CW’s Life Unexpected, which lasted a whopping TWO seasons (26 episodes). Whoa. As for the rest of her TV shows… well, we did mention a curse. Here are six Britt Robertson television programs that lasted only one season, including — we’re sorry to inform you — Girlboss:
Girlboss was supposed to mark the return of Britt Robertson's to serials; she was known for her starring role on The Secret Circle before she started taking over movie screens. Unfortunately, the Netflix series, led by the 27-year-old actress, was recently given the axe.
"So that Netflix series about my life got canceled," said businesswoman Sophia Amoruso on Instagram. "While I'm proud of the work we did, I'm looking forward to controlling my narrative from here on out."
"It was a good show, and I was privileged to work with incredible talent," she added, "but living my life as a caricature was hard even if only for two months. Yes, I can be difficult. No, I'm not a d*ck. No, someone named Shane never cheated on me. It will be nice to someday tell the story of what's happened in the last few years. Ppl read the headline, not the correction, I've learned."
The show, which lasted 13 episodes, was referred to as "tone-deaf," at its best, and "terrible," at its worst. Makes perfect sense why it won't be coming back for Round 2.
