Mason Ramsey, loving known as the Walmart Yodel Boy, made his way into the hearts of millions by yodeling a few lines of Hank Williams‘ “I Love It When You Call Me Sweet Daddy” at his local Walmart earlier this month. Fresh off his Grand Ole Opry performance and Coachella appearance, the 11-year-old Illinois resident signed a freakin’ record deal with Atlantic Records and Big Loud and released his debut single, “Famous.”

Mason said in a statement, “I’d been to Nashville a few times before, but never thought something like this would happen. It’s a dream to sign with Atlantic and Big Loud. I loved recording ‘Famous’ and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

“I loved the video that went viral, and after spending time with Mason, I knew he was a star,” Ian Cripps, Atlantic Records Vice President of A&R, added. “He has the talent and emotional ability to really feel a song and sing from his soul. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to work with him and his family to help develop his career. Coachella, Stagecoach… World, here he comes.”

“Famous” is available to download on multiple platforms, including iTunes and Spotify, now. Keep killin’ it, Mase!
