Taylor Swift’s Top Moments of 2012 (VIDEO)
In just a few years, Taylor Swift‘s gone from country darling to front page news — and not always for positive reasons. But whether or not you’re a fan of superstar, you can’t deny that she kicked butt in 2012. She started off by winning two Grammys for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for “Mean,” which was Tay’s anti-bullying anthem from her 2010 Speak Now CD. The day after the big awards show, her music video with The Civil Wars for The Hunger Games‘ “Safe & Sound” was released. (And we all know how that movie turned out.) Besides those events, she also leant her voice to The Lorax along with Zac Efron, was dubbed Billboard‘s Woman of the Year and she released her fourth studio album, Red, which was kind of a big deal.
Did we forget anything? Oh yes, her dating track record. In addition to her past relationships with Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and more, she can now add American royalty Conor Kennedy and, most recently, Harry Styles.
