DIY Seasonal Cake Pop Recipe: How to Make Polar Bears, Penguins & Snowmen

Chocolate Cake Pop Recipe

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup water
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt



– Preheat oven to 350 degrees
– Cream butter and sugar 8-10 mins until light and fluffy
– Add eggs mix until incorporated
– Add cocoa powder mix until incorporated; make sure to scrape down bowl
– Sift flour baking soda and salt together
– Alternate adding Flour and water to mixture
– Spray all sides of cake pop pan well
– Using a piping bag, pipe batter into bottom half of cake pop pan
– Place lid on top and secure with side locks
– Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
– Using a knife, break off any cake pieces that baked though the top holes
– Carefully pick up the top pan
– Using a spoon, release edges of cake balls and remove from pan
– Let cool completely before covering
– Melt chocolate
– Dip the tip of each stick into chocolate and insert into cake ball. Let chocolate set about 5 minutes
– Dip each pop into chocolate and decorate using your favorite toppings
