Nicholas Hoult Impersonates Stewie Griffin on ‘Conan’ (VIDEO)

While Nicholas Hoult‘s basically the epitome of perfection any way you look at him — his charm, his eyes, his accent (melt) — we couldn’t help but blush during his interview on Conan where he discusses his audition for X-Men: First Class. When prepping to take on the Beast character, formerly portrayed by Frasier‘s Kelsey Grammer, the director asked if Nick could try out for the part in an array of voices — like Stewie Griffin’s on Family Guy.

Nick says of the request, “I was like, ‘That’s odd.’ But I gave it a shot. Hopefully that tape never comes out.” Fortunately, Conan O’Brien encourages the star to channel his inner Seth MacFarlane for the audience, which he kindly agrees to. And wait ’til you hear the impression. It’s pretty darn good, if we do say so ourselves.

As for the upcoming sequel to the franchise, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Nick’s anxious to get to work. He tells Us Weekly, “Yeah, I’m really excited to go back into it and to work more with those guys. Bryan Singer [Nick’s Jack the Giant Slayer director] is going to direct this time, so it would be good to work for him again. I kept in touch with most of the cast. It’s really nice when there’s a job that you know you’re all going back to and you kind of have a good catch up. We had a lot of fun making the first one, lots of great memories, so it’ll be a nice little reunion.”

Of course, this includes Nick’s ex-girlfriend, Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence. Hopefully, it will be an amicable reconciliation. (As if we should expect any less from either of them.)
