We Got Our Hands on a Deleted If I Stay Scene All Chloe Moretz Fans Need to See

By  |

It’s been nearly three months since we first shed tears over the movie adaptation of Gayle Forman‘s If I Stay, starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Jamie Blackley, Liana Liberato and more. Now, with the Blu-ray & DVD tapped for release, it’s time to shed just a few more because… we’ve never-before-scene footage from the film!

In a deleted scene, you’ll see sprit Mia (Chloe) sitting in a chapel with Kim (Liana), listening to her best friend as she reminisces over the good times they had when Mia’s family was alive, and when she wasn’t lying in a coma in the hospital.

When we caught up with Chloe before the flick’s premiere, and asked her which scene fans need to look out for on the DVD, she spoke about this scene specifically, saying, “Honestly, there was one scene… There was a scene in the book where Liana’s character, Kim, says bye to me in the chapel and it just cinematically… We filmed it, and it was so good, she’s amazing and she’s one of my good friends, and we filmed it and she was brilliant, but then when we watched the movie, it was like seven endings; you know, it was like seven people saying goodbye all individually. Cinematically, we just didn’t have the time; the audience didn’t have the heart to watch me die over and over in a sense, or see me possibly die over and over again.”

The If I Stay Blu-ray™ + DVD + Digital HD™ Combo, including an original music montage, free song download from the soundtrack and a three-part immersive making-of experience featuring interviews with the cast and author/executive producer Gayle Forman, will be available starting tomorrow, November 18. Until then, watch the deleted scene above!
