Daniel Radcliffe Brings Out His Inner Slytherin in Horns
Daniel Radcliffe‘s taken on the horror movie genre before (re: The Woman in Black), as well as the darker elements of film in the latter flicks in the Harry Potter franchise. But never have we ever seen him in a role like the one he takes on in Horns.
In the upcoming movie, the 24-year-old actor portrays Ig Perrish, a young man who awakens to strange horns sprouting from his temples after the raping and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin Williams (Juno Temple). The town is convinced that he performed the crimes; his odd appearance only further convinces them of it. HOWEVER, Ig’s horns possess the ability to force confessions out of strangers. Could he find the real killer on his own?
Daniel himself describes the the role, in which he dons a NON-English accent, as “deeply emotional and incredibly outrageous” and “a very, very different type of part than anything I’ve done before.” (No kidding.) Horns hits theaters in the UK this Halloween. Until then, watch the teaser trailer above!
