The Lumineers Debut ‘Gale Song’ From ‘Catching Fire’ LIVE!

By  |

We got our first look at the Catching Fire soundtrack set list earlier this week, but now we're getting to hear another one of the songs! During a concert at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA on September 21, The Lumineers performed a brand new song, and apparently, it's their tune "Gale Song" from the upcoming movie.

Someone attempted to decipher the lyrics, and this is what they came up with:

"It's a lonely road
With a tired end
Where they can see your faces
And you'll be home this spring
I can wait til then

Loneliness too shall pass
Loneliness won't last for long
I wasn't there to take his place
I was ten thousand miles away
So when you hear my voice
When you say my name

I don't want to go
When it's time to leave
Be on my mind my destiny

I won't find a thing
I love you just the samej
I couldn't know what's in your mind
But I saw the pictures you're looking fine
And there was a time when I stood in line for love for love for love
But I let you go, ohI let you go
Broken hearts
And when dreams run by"

Take a listen to the track for yourself above, and tell us what you think of it in the comments section!
