You Won’t Be Able to Stop Yourself from Cringing During This Cara Delevingne Interview

BRB, cringing in horror…

If you’ve seen the promotions Cara Delevingne‘s done for Paper Towns, then you know how pumped she is for the John Green book-turned-movie. However, after some condescending questions on Good Day Sacramento, the 22-year-old model’s energy and enthusiasm certainly took a plunge.

Let us set the scene for you: After being introduced by the wrong name (Carla Delevingne), Cara’s then prompted with the question, “Did you get a chance to read [Paper Towns] or do you even really have time to sit and read? *laughs* These days you’re so busy.”

So, Cara sarcastically replied, “No, I never read the book or the script, actually. I kind of winged it.” Then added that she had actually read the book, and continued to sing John Green’s praises.

The follow-up question: “You are doing one thing after the next after the next. Do you find that it’s easier to focus because you’re so busy? If you had downtime, maybe it wouldn’t be so easy for ya?” You can visibly see the thoughts churning in Cara’s head. Like… what kind of question is that?

The final question of the night comes from a third anchor: “I saw you in London talking a couple weeks ago on TV, and you seemed a lot more excited than you do right now. Are you just exhausted?” W-O-W.

Needless to say, there was tension at the end. But you’ll just have to watch it for yourself and see because YIKES.
