Description: This one strays a bit from my norm, but is a clip I have been wanting to do for quite a while. This is a tribute to three vehicles, whose fate is one of the saddest stories in old school monster trucks. This video is a tribute to Cliff Starbird's monster trucks...Monster Vette, Frankenstein and Wild Stang, and is set to the Guns N' Roses song "November Rain". Monster Vette, Frankenstein and Wild Stang are currently located outdoors at the Darryl Starbird Museum in Afton, Oklahoma. I DO NOT wish to vilify anyone by making this video. Rather, I hope that this raises an eyebrow, and in some small way helps lead to the complete restoration and subsequent care of these once magnificent vehicles. I will tell you that this was a very difficult video for me to make, and on multiple occasions I have to walk away to collect myself.
This video is also dedicated to the late Barry Wentz, who was the first driver I ever saw crush a car in the Frankenstein monster truck. Ms. Wentz, I hope this video lives up to the standards of your husband. Thank you, Barry.
