Description: Comparison of two lumbar spine injuries: 1995 caused by lifting a heavy, damp newspaper recycling bin and compromising back position by not bending knees and 2001 lumbar spine injury sitting cross legged, having neutral spine on a meditation cushion at the end of the first week of a month long Spirit Rock Meditation Center (www.spiritrock.org) residential meditation retreat. Uncontrollable body movement and inability to open eyes for 1 hour during which conscious conversation with two Spirit Rock Meditation Center teachers occurred was experienced prior to the lumbar spine injury. 2001 lumbar spine injury proximate cause is being investigated.
1995 lumbar spine injury healed completely with 1 week prednisone and physical therapy. Steroid injections were NOT administered. Numbness in either right or left extremity was not experienced.
2001 lumbar spine injury has not healed. 2001 lumbar spine injury resulted in tears in L4-5 annulus and spinal column, PLL, nerve root compression and other injuries including moved nerve roots and injured nervous system that can all be viewed in Youtube videos on DKaplan99 channel. Spirit Rock Meditation Center did not provide medical care or liability insurance information. Fraud, Concealment, malice intent and motive were not suspected until October 2007. Given the seriousness of the injury, I should not have been able to move after the injury occurred. Investigation is showing the 2001 lumbar spine injury is related to the brain, cervical and thoracic spine injuries a subset documented in Youtube videos in DKaplan99 channel.
Video shows comparison of muscle tissue and structure, pelvic structure and tissue using a single 1995 coronal plane cross section documenting axial cross section positions. 1995 MRI did not contain separate survey series including coronal plane. 2005, 2006 coronal planes images (cross sections) 1-3 in the survey series are compared. Significant difference in muscle tissue and pelvic tissue is observed.
To date, 2001 and 2003 lumbar coronal plane cross sections are unavailable. Upcoming videos will include 1995 and 2008 coronal plane comparison and axial and sagittal comparison for all years.
