6 The Vampire Diaries Actresses Who Also Have a Career in Music
When it comes to fighting off vampires, werewolves, hybrids and witches, The Vampire Diaries is our go-to show. For eight seasons, we witnessed more action, romance and cliffhangers than any other television series. And since the final episodes aired this spring *sob*, we’ve been dedicating our time to rewatching all our fave moments.
During our binge sessions, we noticed that there are a bunch of actresses from the CW drama who not only worked as full-time vampires (or witches and the like… or protectors against all those things), but also as successful singers off screen! While Michael Malarkey and Chris Brochu represent the guys who can hit a note, it was the girls of the cast who really know how to exercise their multiple talents:
It goes without saying that we would all love to have friend like Bonnie in our lives, but Kat's amazing, too! She has been chasing a successful music career since 2007, when she toured with The Black Eyed Peas on their Black Blue & You Tour as a supporting act.
Since then, Kat has released a bunch of singles and covers that earned her praise from some of the biggest names, like Paula Abdul and Ellen DeGeneres.
In 2012, Kat signed her first recording contract and has been releasing hit songs ever since — most recently, her single, "Sometimes," which debuted in March.
