Looking back on your faves’ first gigs are super fun, right? We did it for the casts of Twilight, Divergent and The Hunger Games, so we figured it was time to do the same for the cast of Vampire Academy. And here we go!

Zoey Deutch — Shortly after the beauty’s one-episode stint on NCIS, she starred in her first movie, Mayor Cupcake — with her mama, Switched At Birth‘s Lea Thompson, and sister!

Lucy Fry — Technically, the Aussie actress’ first stint was on TV series H2O: Just Add Water. But, since she just played Student at Graduation on that show, we’ll show you a bit from her second television role as Zoey on Lightning Point. Anyone find it interesting how she portrayed an alien here, then moved on to play a vampire a few years later? Fascinating.

Danila Kozlovsky — After his first TV movie, Sissi, l’impératrice rebelle, DK moved on to star as one of the leads in a Russian film called Garpastum, a Latin word meaning ball game. Although you may not be able to understand the words, you need to look at Danila nearly 10 years ago because AWW.

Dominic Sherwood — Years before he was cast as Christian Ozera, the English actor starred on a couple handfuls of episodes of TV short The Cut. Just look at those locks of his!

Sarah Hyland — In 1997, fetus Sarah Hyland portrayed Howard Stern‘s daughter in his autobiographical story, Private Parts. This is the most precious thing you’ll see today:

Cameron Monaghan — Speaking of fetuses, check out an adorably toothless Cameron acting — and SINGING — in his first TV movie, The Music Man, starring Broadway greats Matthew Broderick and Kristin Chenoweth.

Sami Gayle — Like many celebs before her, Sami got her start on a soap opera. However, since we couldn’t find any clips from her portrayal of Hayden Lawson on As the World Turns (or her one-time stint on Royal Pains for that matter), we’ll show you footage from her first film, Detachment.

Ashley Charles — Apart from his role on the TV short, White Buffalo, and his turn on The White Queen (with Max Irons), Ashley’s first project was portraying Keith Richards in the film Jimi: All Is By My Side alongside Andre 3000. Here’s the trailer:
