‘Vampire Academy’ Adds More Names to its Class Cast Roster

Things are starting to get really good over on the set of Vampire Academy. With production for the book-to-movie adaptation tapped for this month, the Zoey Deutch-led film needs to fill out the rest of its cast list. And that it shall…

As announced by Deadline, four more roles have been filled, including the part of Zoey’s on-screen nemesis, Mia Rinaldi. Sami Gayle, known for her part on CBS’ Blue Bloods, snagged the coveted spot in the VA franchise. The actress says of her new stint, “SO THRILLED to become Mia Rinaldi and to enroll in #VampireAcademy!”

Cameron Monaghan (depicted above), from Shameless fame, is set to portray dhampir (half-human/half-vampire) Mason Ashford, who is one of heroine Rose’s best friends.

Rounding out the rest of the aforementioned slots are Ashley Charles, who will play Jesse Zeklos, a “super hot” Royal Moroi (vampire) attending the academy, and Claire Foy, who will play Sonya Karp, a Moroi who teaches at St. Vladimir’s. They will be joining Zoey, Lucy Fry (Lissa), Danila Kozlovsky (Dimitri) and Olga Kurylenko (Headmistress Kirova) for the ride.

Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters is currently scheduled to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day 2014. Is it on your must-see list? Tell us in the comments!
