13 Underrated YA Book Series You Need to Read ASAP
When you ask teens for their all-time favorite young adult book series, chances are you’ll hear Harry Potter, The Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games or Divergent. If not one of those, then perhaps The Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson, Vampire Academy or Beautiful Creatures. And if not one of those, which is stretching it at this point, then maybe If I Stay or The Maze Runner.
Did we list your personal favorite? If not, then you just might be one of the few more interested in one of the following underrated series of YA novels. Unlike our list of YA series you haven’t heard about… for now, these are titles you’ve probably heard about in passing, but may’ve not taken a crack at yet, or liked, but maybe didn’t give it ’em a full chance because they’re not as hyped up as the above-mentioned books. We promise, though, all of ’em are worth your time (even if they don’t all have a blockbuster film on the way):

THE PLOT: There’s something familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret... even if it kills her.
