8 TV Reunions You Wish Could Happen But Never Will
There is nothing better than coming home from a long day and turning on your fave TV show. The only thing that can harsh your TV vibes is when one of your absolute favorite characters leaves the show, or worse, when it goes off the air. Sadly there are some amazing shows that were canceled for dumb reasons, but the most depressing thing is when your TV show cast refuses to make a comeback.
Sure, the casts of different shows (aka One Tree Hill) get together and rub your face in the fact that they are besties, but what about a real TV reunion? Back in the day we all thought there would NEVER be a Gilmore Girls comeback, but recently our prayers have been answered. Maybe the TV gods will listen to us now and revive these epic series that the casts have previously said will never happen. Fingers crossed!
One Tree Hill
Off screen the cast of One Tree Hill hangs out all the time, but on screen there doesn't look like there will ever be a reunion. Okay, so we aren't complaining about the cast reuniting in Canada or Paris and sharing adorable photos at the bar together, but when will they head back to Tree Hill? Even though the cast seems game to team up again, it is more like a fantasy than a reality. The series ended in 2012 and ever since fans have been clamoring for more OTH. “I would never say never; it's all project-specific," the show’s creator Mark Schwahn told Zap2It after the show came to an end.
In another interview, Mark explained why it would be hard to create another episode of the show. "They love to pin it on me, but here's the truth: The cast has been very successful, and if you look around, they're all doing great things, which I'm incredibly proud of… get 'em all in one place, and I'll be there!" he told Glamour in May 2015.
