10 Teen TV Characters Who Ended Up with the Wrong Person by Series End
When it comes to teen TV shows, relationships can be… complicated, to say the least. There are some couples that make total sense, but others leave you completely confused. Some shows have the absolute worst couples — we’re looking at you, The Vampire Diaries — while other duos are straight up DYSFUNCTIONAL. And let’s not forget about the couples that should have ended up together, but didn’t because the show creators felt the need to toy with your emotions instead.
Despite all the horrible TV character pairings, there ARE some that actually work really well. Sadly, not all of these power pairs ended up together by the time their respective show concluded. LBH, Glee's Finn and Rachel were endgame. Even the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, admitted that he envisioned the perfect show conclusion: Rachel would find her way back McKinley High after becoming a Broadway star, walk into Finn's glee club and say, "I'm home." Does that not sound like absolute perfect ending?!
Unfortunately, Finn and Rachel didn't end up together. Due to Cory Monteith's unfortunate passing, a new ending for Rachel had to be planned out. In the end, Rachel and her former flame, Jesse St. James, got married. We'll never get over that series finale. #FinchelForever
