Popular YouTuber Hints That She Took a Break from YT Because She Had a Stroke
By now, you’re probably used to seeing Trisha Paytas‘ YouTube
rants videos two or three times a day. However, things recently changed — the blonde social media star took time off from the video-sharing service for days, without giving a reason… until today.
The 28-year-old, who opened up about her struggles with anxiety, depression, drug addiction and bipolar disorder in past videos, posted a new vid called, “something bad happened,” in which she describes her disastrous night on Friday, January 20.
“Something bad with my physical health happened,” she said on her YouTube channel, blndsundoll4mj. “I lived [through] something so traumatic, and I… I get it, I need to take better care of myself.”
“You guys know that I’ve been having anxiety attacks,” she continued, “and I just assume when I can’t breathe that it’s going to be an anxiety attack. This was a little bit different. This one, again, I felt like I couldn’t breathe, but I was like, ‘You know what? It’s probably anxiety, just go to sleep, I’ll feel better in the morning,’ which I normally do.”
“My whole body started, like, tingling in a weird way,” she explained, “and it just started tingling. This side of my body [motioning toward her ride arm], the one I pick up my phone with, I swear to goodness, I felt like I couldn’t even do thi-, like, I couldn’t even do this motion [motioning arm up and down], even without a phone in my hand… Pretty much the upper side of this body just was completely lifeless.”
She then goes into detail about the alleged events, saying that she couldn’t talk properly; that she was slurring her speech. She also claims that she was not on drugs at the time, so it has nothing to do with that. While Trisha doesn’t say the name of the problem, viewers believe she’s claiming that she suffered from a stroke or a heart attack. Symptoms of a stroke include trouble walking, speaking and understanding, as well as paralysis or numbness of the face, arm, or leg; symptoms of a heart attack include pain or discomfort in the left, right or both arms or in the shoulders, elbows, back, neck, throat, lower jaw or stomach.
Trisha doesn’t blame YouTube, drama or stress… but she says they could “play into it.”
