Another One of Your Favorite YouTube Couples is Now Married, Too!
Last week, YouTube stars Elle Fowler and Alex Goot tied the knot in a wedding ceremony fit for royalty. And while we’re still completely enthralled with looking at the happy couple’s incredible wedding pics, it’s time for us to shift gears a bit and focus on another YT marriage.
Longtime couple Tyler Shelton (a.k.a. TribeTyler) and Haylee Rose got hitched in an equally as stunning event a few days ago, which they obviously documented in a series of vlogs.
Fellow YouTubers Sam and Jennika Anderson served as members of the wedding party
Tyler and Haylee met when they were in middle school and have basically been dating ever since. But before the 22-year-old could figure out how he wanted to propose to his longtime love, her beloved father passed away suddenly in April 2014, leaving Tyler to rethink his plan.
Instead of calling up the Rose family patriarch to ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage like he always thought he would, the YouTube guy instead created an emotional letter, promising to always love and care for Haylee. With the help of the brunette beauty’s family, the pair got engaged just over a year after her dad’s death in Rome, Italy.
“Dear Greg. I’m going to marry your daughter,” he said in the proposal video. “I always thought of how I was going to ask for your blessing one day and now that day is here. I wish you were here to hand your baby girl off to me so I promise to be more than you would ever want me to be.”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Unlike Tyler and Haylee, these YouTube couples met because of the site:
Zoe Sugg & Alfie Deyes
Although Alfie and Zoe both attended the same YouTube party back in July 2012, they didn't officially meet until August 2012 at another YT event called Summer in the City (Zoe actually waited on line to meet her future BF and his pal Marcus Butler)! The pair quickly became friends, and frequently collaborated together and were featured in each other's vlogs. Many fans began to speculate that Zalfie was a thing, but the YouTubers didn't confirm their romantic relationship until August 2013, when their friend Jim Chapman accidentally outed them by showing a photo of them smooching in one of his vlogs — OOPS! But even though the start to their romance was a bit ~unique~ Zoe and Alfie have now been dating for almost three years, live together in England, and have an adorable little puppy named Nala. #GOALS
