YouTube Star Not-So-Subtly Hints That an O2L Reunion Could Happen

By  |

When YouTube troop Our 2nd Life uploaded a video titled “This Is Not Goodbye” announcing their breakup at the end of 2014, the sounds of millions of hearts breaking could be heard all over the world; O2L was no more. And while Trevor Moran, Connor Franta, Ricky Dillon, Sam Pottorff, JC Caylen and Kian Lawley haven’t collaborated on YT together in over a year, they’re still slaying the crap out of their own channels and are basically taking over the world. #TeamYouTube, y’all.

Many people thought the possibility of an O2L reunion was getting slimmer and slimmer by the second, but according to singer Trevor Moran, who recently stopped by the Teen.com offices for a nice afternoon hang, that’s not the case. But before we get into that, we have to tell you that the 17 year old admitted that while he, JC, Sam, Ricky and Kian continued making videos for five months after Connor came out as gay and decided to leave the channel, they were originally going to call it quits right then and there, too.

“This is pretty exclusive information: when Connor left it was all supposed to end,” the “Got Me Feelin’ Like” crooner told us. “He left like five months before, and then we decided to extend it for five more months. We knew we were just gonna give it to the end of the year.”

Whew — thank goodness for those extra five months! Even though the boys have been off doing their own things professionally, they’re all still best friends.

“We see each other all the time; we’re always at parties together and stuff.”

In fact, Trevor is currently on the ALIVE/GOLD tour with his best friend (and fellow O2L member) Ricky Dillon. So, could that mean the YT reunion of our dreams is gonna go down?

“It’s a little hard to coordinate [a video with everyone], but who knows…maybe…wink wink,” he cheekily said. “Put an emoji to get them excited. Possibly… Two-eye wink!”

But although Trevor was open to the guys getting back together for a video in the future, his reps confirm that there are no plans for a reunion right now. Major bummer. Don’t be too upset, though, because the social media superstar has a lot of other exciting things coming up.

“More music, more music videos [are coming up]. More stuff. Winky wink. The next single is called “Get Me Through the Night.” I’m performing it on tour right now. It’s gonna be a summer jam.”

At least these boys never slow down and always have fun and exciting things for us! *le sigh* Stay tuned for more from our chat with Trevor coming to Teen.com soon!
