Tom Holland & Zendaya Took a HUGE Step in Their (Rumored) Relationship

There isn’t a lot you can say about 2017 movies. (Can you even name five that you really enjoyed?) But, at the very least, out of the plethora of disappointing teen flicks, the past 365 days did give us Spider-Man: Homecoming, so we’d call that a win.

The blockbuster film was released on June 28, and people still haven’t stopped talking about it. It could be because it was THAT awesome, it could be because Tom Holland, who plays leading man Peter Parker/Spider-Man, is only kicking off his amazing superhero career — he’s tapped to appear in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War as the masked web-flinger — it could be because it marked Disney Channel’s Zendaya‘s first time on the big screen, and her star is only rising — her next project is The Greatest Showman, in theaters December 20 — OR it could be because the stars are said to be dating IRL, and people cannot contain their joy!

While the two did promo for their Marvel project over the summer, rumors swirled that they were in a relationship. “They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man,” People reported. “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”

The 21-year-old beauty denied going on vacations with the 21-year-old Brit… but didn’t outright deny that they’re an item.

And it doesn’t seem like Z’s denial put people off from thinking there’s something more than friendly happening off camera. Now, there are multiple reports that they’ve taken the next step in their private relationship. According to Us Weekly, Tom met Zendaya’s parents!

“Tom has met Zendaya’s family and they love him,” the site boasts. “They are still seeing each other; it’s been about a year.”

The Coleman family and Mr. Holland were reportedly seen as recently as this week, celebrating the premiere of Daya’s second movie, The Greatest Showman, at Bobby Van’s Central Park South in New York City this week.

“They are really connected,” Entertainment Tonight claims, adding that the couple has been trying to keep the relationship under wraps for “privacy reasons.”

They may be playing it coy, but that doesn’t mean they don’t sing each other’s praises whenever possible. “[Tom’s] a great dude,” she told Variety earlier this year. “He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together… There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”

Do you think Tomdaya’s the real deal?
