The 5 Juiciest Lies, Quotes (and Secrets!) From Last Night’s Ep of The Lying Game
Since our nights of Pretty Little Liars-filled dramz are on hiatus (till the end of October), we can now pay full attention to the lies brewing in The Lying Game. And last night’s ep was jam-to-the-packed. First off, what is up with this ‘twintuition’ stuff? Can Emma and Sutton’s nightmares be based off the same memory? And Nisha needs to learn to back off, because girl is getting on our nerves. Oh, and is anyone else really starting to like Laurel? We wish she was our sis.
Ahh, so much to dish on! And it all starts now…
“So when did this happen?”–Char
“I would say since the first moment I saw her [Laurel].”–Justin
In case we haven’t made it clear, we are major fans of newbie Justin. And after his first date with Laurel, where he accidentally tipped $50 instead of $5, we can totes see why Char’s jealous of their relationship.
“I thought I was dying. I couldn’t breathe. And I was drowning.”–Emma
This is where we learn about that whole twinsense thing. Both Emma and Sutton experienced the same recurring nightmare. Only by the end of the ep, we learn that they weren’t drowning — Emma was caught in a fire IRL!
“You’re taking your sister’s side over your friends? Mads, can you remind her how wrong this is?”–Char
After Char learns that Emma (as Sutton) set up Laurel and Justin, Char freaks out not because her new crush is dating Laurel, but that her BFF didn’t back her up. Not gonna lie, we’re on Emma’s side with this one.
“And the Oscar goes to… Laurel Mercer for The Sutton Story!”–Laurel
Emma may be ruining some of Sutton’s friendships, but considering Laurel just took the fall for framing Ethan, we think it’s safe to say that she’s helping her relationship with her adoptive sister.
“Are you sleeping with Eduardo?”–Char
“Yes! Yes, I am. We’ve been together for, like, 6 months now and we can’t keep our hands off each other.”–Mads
Big. Fat. Lie. Mads was def into her ballet instructor, Eduardo, but he ended everything between them because she’s only 17 years old. So why the lies, Mads?
The pics below should clue you in on the rest of the recap:
