Tessa Brooks & Chance Sutton Split Less Than 2 Months After Getting ~Married~

Tessa Brooks, 18, and Chance Sutton, 20, decided to get married (we use this term loosely, because who the heck knows the actual validity of the ceremony) in Las Vegas on June 18 after dating for, like, five minutes — what could go wrong?! The Team 10 members enjoyed the first month and a half of being newlyweds as much as possible, but, in the end, decided they couldn’t make the marriage (dating???) thing work. It happened — Chessa has broken up, y’all.

The dancer made the announcement in a short and sweet YouTube video posted on her channel on Saturday.

“Chance and I started off as best friends and that is part of the reason why we worked so well as a couple, just because we feel extremely comfortable around each other,” she explained. “But, we decided it would be best for our friendship if that’s all that it was — that we weren’t Chessa anymore; that we weren’t touching all the time; that we weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend, [or] ‘husband and wife,’ just because we want this friendship to last as long as possible.”

But although the pair isn’t a couple any longer, Tessa assures fans that they’re still best friends and shippers will definitely be getting their fix in the future.

“I just want you guys to know that we are still gonna be friends; we’re gonna still be vlogging together, and hanging out together every single day.”

Chance echoed the brunette’s sentiment on Twitter.

He’s apparently going to tell the “truth” and answer questions about the breakup “soon.”

While Chessa is dunzo, Jerika (that’s the ~marriage~ between Jake Paul and Erika Costell) is still going strong…well, as far as we know, at least.
