Transient Man Arrested After Trespassing on Taylor Swift’s Property
Sadly, Taylor Swift‘s privacy and security has been threatened once again…
On Sunday afternoon, a transient man was arrested for trespassing on the “Delicate” singer’s property when he attempted to the scale the 7-foot-tall wall. According to TMZ, the man was calling out Tay’s name as he attempted to gain entry and refused to heed the multiple warnings given to him by her security guards.
The man faces one misdemeanor count of trespassing and refusing to leave private property. He was arraigned yesterday in a Los Angeles court and faces a maximum sentence of six months in county jail for his crime.
Thankfully the 28-year-old wasn’t at home at the time of the incident, but that doesn’t make it any less scary.
Just last week, a man in Connecticut robbed a bank and then drove to Taylor’s east coast house, telling authorities that the whole scheme was an attempt to impress her. Luckily she also wasn’t at that property at the time the man approached it, but that didn’t stop him from throwing some of the stolen money over her lawn.
On top of all of that, her stalker — a man named Frank Andrew Hoover, who had threatened her and her family with scary emails for years — got out of going to jail just last week. Hoover was ordered to stay away from the blonde and her family and received a sentence of ten years probation, but still — GPS monitoring can only make a person feel so safe.
At least T.Swift can take comfort in the fact that she’ll be on the road for her Reputation Stadium Tour in just a few weeks where she’ll have plenty of security, as well as her friends, family and boyfriend Joe Alwyn, watching her back.
