Taylor Swift Hints That She’s Working on New Music During AMAs Speech
Wow, Taylor Swift is officially the artist with the most American Music Awards wins — ever! After wowing the audience with her incredible opening number and accepting her first award of the night for Best Tour, Tay Tay made her way to the stage once again when when she won Best Pop/Rock Album of the Year for Reputation.
“Thank you a million times for this,” the 28-year-old said as she started off her acceptance speech. “This is actually the first time I ever wrote an album based on a title first… So the whole time I was writing an album based on all the facets of a reputation and how it affects you, what it actually means to you, I was surrounded by friends and family and loved ones, who never loved me less based on the fluctuations of public opinion.”

The “Delicate” crooner went on to say, “I always look at albums as chapters in my life and to the fans, I’m so happy that you like this one…. But I have to be really honest with you about something: I’m even more excited about the next chapter.”
Yeah, you read that correctly. As sad as it is to see the Reputation era come to an end, it sounds like there’s something even better on the horizon. Earlier this year, T.Swift allegedly told pop culture blogger Perez Hilton that her seventh studio album will be released before she turns 30, which will happen on December 13, 2019. So, when you put this piece of information together with the fact that she basically hinted that she’s working on new music, we think it’s safe to say TS7 isn’t that far away, after all. YAY!
