Taylor Swift’s Tour Set Malfunctioned …and It Made the Show Even BETTER
On any given tour, there’s no way everything could go off without a hitch. Even the best of the best performers suffer from setbacks — and that includes Taylor Swift.
Last night, the 28-year-old singer returned to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the second night in a row for her Reputation Stadium Tour, and it was AH-mazing from the second she started crooning “…Ready for It?”
Everything seemed to be running smoothly… until about midway through her performance, as she was belting out her latest single, “Delicate.”
“I’m pretty sure I’m stuck up here,” she informed the crowd. “It’s a nice view, though.”

“What you just saw was me going straight up and down in this sparkly basket,” she said after she concluded the tune. “It’s supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium.”
But, being the total pro that she is, she figured out a way to make the show even BETTER. While the technicians attempted to figure out a solution (chatting up all the possibilities in Taylor’s earpiece, according to Tay herself), Tay added a couple more songs to her already-awesome setlist: “Our Song,” from Taylor’s eponymous debut album, Taylor Swift (2006), and “Wildest Dreams,” from her fifth studio album, 1989. How do we know? Because we were right there to witness it all!!!

Eventually, Taylor made her way over to another stage (not the one she originally intended, but still) and continued on her merry way. So, basically, the audience was treated to two more tunes than any other audience on the tour (so far)! Honestly, #blessed.
