Taylor Swift Sends Flowers to L.A. Police Department Following Vegas Shooting

Taylor Swift is known for sending flowers to various celebrities to congratulate them on their achievements. She continued her gifting trend by mailing several arraignments of beautiful plants to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Community Police Station in Pacoima, California, to honor one of their officers who was injured in the tragic Las Vegas shooting.

LAPD Intel Analyst Kimberlee Binder posted a picture of one of the bouquets that was sent by the “Look What You Made Me Do” on Instagram, thanking her for her thoughtfulness and generosity.

“Talk about a class act,” she captioned the picture. “@taylorswift sent multiple bouquets of flowers and plants to our station, as one of our officers was shot in Las Vegas last night. This is one of the smaller arrangements. Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Much respect.”

The LAPD confirmed that an off-duty female officer attended the Route 91 Harvest Festival with some of her co-workers and was, according to ABC, shot in the knee during the attack. She was taken to the hospital and is thankfully now in stable condition.

T.Swift was one of the many celebrities who posted their emotional reaction to the shooting on social media yesterday. She tweeted, “There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families.”

Stephen Paddock, 64, conducted the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history when he shot and killed at least 59 people and injured 527 more from his 32nd-floor Mandalay Bay hotel room on Sunday evening. Upwards of 22,000 people were watching Jason Aldean perform during the country music festival that was happening across the street at the time.
