DJ Found Guilty of Groping Taylor Swift Says She “Ruined” His Life
Taylor Swift had to endure a grueling trial because David Mueller, a radio DJ who groped her during a 2013 meet-and-greet, sued HER for causing him to be fired. The 28-year-old ultimately won the case and the man was found guilty of sexual assault, but he’s now saying she ruined his life, when it’s clearly the other way around.
The 56-year-old claims that he never assaulted the “Delicate” crooner, but simply was “not ready for the photograph.”
“How can you live with yourself? You ruined my life,” the sexual assaulter asks Tay, via Radar. “I was not ready for the photograph. I admit it was awkward but I never grabbed her. It’s not even close to what happened.”
The disgraced radio DJ only had to pay T.Swift $1, the amount she asked for, in damages and avoided jail time, but he still compares his life, which includes a new job at a Mississippi radio station, to being behind bars.
He says, “Now I’m afraid to even talk to women. I feel like I’m in a prison. I’m not myself anymore. I don’t even go near women. […] I was always the gentleman. I would always say, ‘Hey, watch your language, there’s a lady here,’ and then I get accused of this.”
