Taylor Swift Surprises Fans at Reputation Secret Sessions Listening Party in the UK

By  |

Taylor Swift‘s long-awaited sixth album, Reputation, is only 25 days away and we are low-key MAJORLY freaking out…

We first got wind of this new album when Taylor deleted literally everything from social media on August 18. Since then, we’ve gotten two new songs from the album and an incredible music video for “Look What You Made Me Do.” Although we are seriously loving these songs and all the behind-the-scenes footage from the music video, it’s been 43 days since we’ve gotten any more insight on what’s on the album and we’ve slowly been going crazy. Taylor must have heard our cries because this weekend she hosted the very first (of hopefully many) listening parties for Reputation. We found out about the party after our timelines suddenly became full of pictures of fans wearing Reputation-styled wristbands with the words United Kingdom on them. Taylor’s London fans who got to attend the exclusive listening party took to Twitter to talk about the new songs on the album and even shared pictures of themselves posing with Taylor.

Just the reviews from the few incredibly lucky fans who were invited have us knowing that Reputation is going to be unlike anything we have ever heard from Taylor:

We can confidently say that we are fully unprepared for the song that allegedly left the whole room sobbing. Why are you torturing us, Tay?!

All we know is that we can’t even imagine how incredible it must have been to be able to tweet about sitting in Taylor’s living room, listening to her new songs and have it NOT be a dream.

This incredible night that we’re not at all bitter about not being invited to all went down in London. We were wondering why she chose the UK for her first Secret Sessions stop, but then it all made sense when Tay was spotted filming a new music video in the area!

With the first listening party and a new music video being filmed all happening in the same weekend, we are more excited than ever before. Now we just need to find out how to get our hands on an invite for one of her listening parties in the U.S…
