Taylor Swift’s Reputation Album Leaks Early in U.K. & Fans Are PISSED

By  |

Ever since Taylor Swift announced her sixth studio album, Reputation, we’ve been counting down the MINUTES until it hits stores. There are only four more days to suffer through until all the songs are in our possession, but unfortunately one record store in Birmingham, U.K., didn’t get the memo about the release date and played the entire CD early.

One Swiftie tweeted on Saturday, “HELP!! JUST CALLED BIRMINGHAM HMV & THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAVE PLAYED THE ALBUM TODAY. SHE ASKED ME WHY I WAS CALLING. I SAID THAT IT ISN’T SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYED UNTIL IT IS RELEASED, & WAS QUERYING WHY THEY WEREN’T FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM @taylorswift AND HER TEAM.”

Fans quickly began alerting the 27-year-old singer and her team and calling/tweeting the record store to make sure the mistake was rectified.

So far, HMV Birmingham has not made a public statement about playing the album early, and neither has Tay or any members of her team. Luckily, it doesn’t appear that any unreleased Reputation songs are available anywhere online…yet.
