Taylor Swift to Premiere “Look What You Made Me Do” Video at the VMAs

We’re overwhelmed. Not only did Taylor Swift announce her sixth studio album, Reputation, premiere a brand-new single called “Look What You Made Me Do,” AND announce a tour all in the past couple days, but she’s ALSO getting ready to debut the song’s music video at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards!

We’re not positive that the 27-year-old plans to attend the VMAs this weekend, but we do know for sure that we’ll be getting at least some T.Swift action at the awards show. The blonde also posted a 20-second preview of the vid on her Twitter page earlier this morning with the announcement of its premiere.

Before she even announced the video premiere, there were rumors that Tay was going make a surprise appearance at the VMAs to perform and subsequently end her feud with host Katy Perry.

When asked about the speculation of a Katy-Taylor reunion at the VMAs, however, show producer Garrett English was quick to halt the stories in their tracks.

“Not so far, no. That’s not happening as far as [I know],” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I’ve certainly seen all the rumors flying around, but that’s not happening.”

Now, let’s get back to what really matters — the video! According to a source who saw the MV and spoke to Us Weekly, “It is definitely eye-catching.”

Taylor allegedly was planning on “overhauling her image” with the #ReputationERA, so we honestly have no idea what could be in store for the vid. Based on the teaser, it looks like there are scenes very reminiscent of Beyonce‘s “Formation” MV, which was released on December 9, 2016.

As per usual, we’ll be providing you allllll the updates from the VMAs, so be sure to check back to see what happens on the iconic night.
