Taylor Swift Declares Her Love for Joe Alwyn in Second “Delicate” Music Video

Okay, so if you’re a die-hard Swiftie, chances are, you already know that Taylor Swift‘s song, “Delicate,” off her Reputation album is 1. a BANGER, obviously, 2. the singer dropped a SECOND music video for “Delicate” and 3. it’s about her British boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Hellur, she even sings, “Oh damn, never seen that color blue” in reference to the color of his eyes. Not to mention her line, “Do the girls back home touch you like I do?” is totally about the girls back in his home of England.

ANYWAY, when Tay dropped her first music video for this certified jam that was inspired by a Kenzo perfume ad, some fans were really confused about the whole thing. Some even second-guessed their Swiftie knowledge since the video was mainly about the singer’s trapped life in the spotlight, causing her to basically turn invisible and dance around a hotel without a bother, causing them to wonder if the song is even about Joe.

The only romantic part of the video came at the end when Taylor walks into a bar and sees the love of her life (a.k.a. Joe). However, we never see the guy’s face, so it’s only a theory for now, but the implication of the guy being Joe is definitely there.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Tay-Tay dropped a SECOND video for “Delicate” last night on Spotify and this time it was a personal vertical video of T dancing in the woods. It’s very clear that this video is VERY different from the first one she released, during the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 11th. While both are similar in the sense that she’s dancing a LOT, many fans seem to agree that the second one was pretty underwhelming and that it wasn’t really much better or less confusing than the first:

Even though some fans were disappointed in how simple the second “Delicate” video is, we can all agree that the best part was when Tay points to the piece of jewelry around her neck with Joe’s initial on it, right?
