Taylor Swift Voted Songwriter/Artist of the Year By The Nashville Songwriters Association

By  |

Taylor Swift is seriously unstoppable. Over the weekend, the "22" singer was named Songwriter/Artist of the Year by The Nashville Songwriters Association International. Pretty cool, right? However, what makes the honor even cooler is the fact that this is the 6th (!) time she's won the honor.

In fact, now that she's nabbed the coveted title six times, she has officially surpassed 5-time winners (and country music legends) Vince Gill and Alan Jackson. Oh, and did we mention she's also the YOUNGEST person to ever win the award? No big deal…

We have a feeling her album Red has a lot to do with the honor, as it has sold over 6 million copies, and was number one in over 50 countries.

Looks like Taylor can add this award to her seven Grammys, seven Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, and 12 Billboard Music Awards, among MANY others.

We wonder if she made one of THESE faces when she won!
