FBI Comes After Tana Mongeau for Bomb Threats, But Fans Think She’s Lying

To say it’s been a bad couple weeks for Tana Mongeau would be an understatement. Not only was she accused of lying to her millions of followers by her former BFF/assistant, but another YouTube star named iDubbbz also exposed her for fabricating a story about him choking her during a meet & greet.

“I’ve made so many mistakes and even at 18, I’m still trying to learn. I intend on owning up to everything, and hoping you’ll forgive me. ILY. I’m not quitting. I took a break before filming my apology because I don’t want to be emotional in it. I don’t want people to think I want pity,” she tweeted following the incident.

But even though her Twitter statement said that she couldn’t film because she’s too emotional, her Snapchat told a different story.

“I was filming my apology and explanation video, which I’m still trying to get to go up tomorrow at noon, but I just got off the phone with the FBI who called me and basically said that someone hacked into my email and then sent a bombing and shooting threat from my email to McCarran Airport. And so, I’m out of town right now, but apparently the FBI just showed up to my parents’ house, my current house and my old house, trying to find me for this. And I just talked to them and explain what happened. Obviously I’m not blaming iDubbbz for what his supporters do, but I’m having to talk to the FBI and pause filming, so…yeah.”

What the actual eff??? That’s SO messed up. But wait just a second — fans aren’t 100 percent convinced this story about the FBI is true. Not only did the 18-year-old delete the Snapchats just minutes after they were posted, but her description of what happened is a bit iffy to some.

YIKES. We guess we’ll have to see what she says in her apology video before we jump to any conclusions.

Not all of Tana’s stories are lies (we think). Here are the ones that really happened:
