YouTube Star Was Almost Roofied by a Man Carrying Loaded Gun

By  |

Tana Mongeau is admittedly overly paranoid in a lot of situations (we can totally understand why), but her unease about a party she was recently attending was totally warranted. After attending the Teen Choice Awards, the 17-year-old YouTube star returned home to Las Vegas and decided to go to what she thought was going to be a small gathering with her friends. When she arrived, she realized the low-key night was actually a huge house party, and that’s when things started to go wrong.

The blonde noticed a guy walking around the house trying to get random girls to drink out of a big bottle of alcohol, claiming it tastes “so good.” She got “bad vibes” right away and decided to keep an eye on him.

“I notice that he’s not drinking the alcohol himself… and then I start to notice that girls were taking one or two big swallows of it and then 15 minutes later were ridiculously drunker than they were before; blackout, can’t walk, can’t talk.”

It was then that the man came over to Tana and her friends and tried to get them to drink from the bottle, too. Althoguh she tried to deny him multiple times, he still was pushing her to take a sip, so she threw caution to the wind and called him out.

“It’s really obvious that you’re trying to roofie me,” she said right to his face.

And instead of laughing or denying her claim, he gave her a nod like, “you right; this b*tch smart.” WHAT THA–

To make the story even MORE creepy, one of Tana’s guy friends later had an encounter with this man who pulled out a gun and fired two shots into the air as a warning. When she heard about this, she was obviously terrified, because she thought he’d come after her for trying to foil his plan.

Thankfully no one got hurt, but as Gigi Gorgeous preached in the past, always be aware of your surroundings and don’t do things that make you uncomfortable.

Tana’s scary situation led her to have serious anxiety — these 13 other YT stars have also spoken out about their battle with the mental disorder:
