Insurgent Premiere Week Ends in a Breakup for One of Its Stars
The week your movie — something you spent days, weeks, sometimes months working on — premieres is supposed to be a happy occasion, right? Right. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like that’s how the particular premiere week of The Divergent Series: Insurgent will end for one of its stars, Suki Waterhouse.
The 23-year-old actress, who joined the all-star cast of Divergent‘s sequel as Dauntless-born Initiate Marlene, and longtime love, 40-year-old Oscar-nominee Bradley Cooper, have reportedly called it quits after two years of dating. According to E! Online, it’s anyone’s guess as to whether or not this split is permanent, but it’s very new, as Suki attended the 87th Academy Awards with Bradley just last month.
The two managed to keep most of their relationship under wraps. Apart from pictures of them at various red-carpet events or sports games, Suki told ELLE UK how they tried to keep things private, “I don’t talk about my boyfriend because it’s boring. At least, that’s what I decided to tell you when you asked. I do think whatever I say will sound weird. But the truth is, if I start talking about him, I probably won’t be able to stop. And I don’t really want to talk about him, you know?”
Do you think this is the official end of Suki and Bradley’s relationship? Or do you believe there’s hope for them in the future? Talk!
