“Whip My Hair,” — the song, the hair spasm action, and the girl that sings it — is taking the pop music world by storm. But what if we told you that the song that made Willow Smith a star was really written by another star? Soulja Boy, (remember his one good song, “Superman?”) is claiming to have penned “Whip My Hair!”

Do you believe Soulja boy wrote Willow’s song? He tweeted…

Oh, and speaking of “turning my swag on…”

The 10-year-old is rumored to be doing a remake of her famous dad’s song, “Parents Just Don’t Understand.” The song came out back in 1988, way before Willow was even a twinkle in Will and Jada’s eye, but Willow thinks “it’s a really great song” and she’d love to cover it in 2011!

Do you think Soulja Boy really wrote “Whip My Hair?” Do you want to see Willow redo a Will Smith song?
