Fans Rage After Selena Gomez Replaces Ariana Grande’s Magazine Cover w/ Hers
Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande are, arguably, two of the biggest pop superstars in the world right now. Ever since they rose to fame on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, respectively, people have tried to pit the girls against each other, with only slight evidence (Ari allegedly shaded Sel for lip-syncing at a Jingle Ball concert a few years ago) to back up their theories. All has been silent on the AG vs. SG front for quite some time now, until Ms. Gomez decided to get sneaky.
The 24-year-old celebrity recently covered Vogue magazine‘s April 2017 issue and, as expected, was super excited and proud. Selena obviously wanted people to see the mag, so she decided to cover a bunch of others on display with her own.

The action was
obviously most likely meant to be a joke, but not everybody was laughing — especially not Arianators, who noticed one of the magazines Selly covered was the 23-year-old singer’s Cosmopolitan cover. While some people tried to remind fans that the “It Ain’t Me” crooner covered everything and didn’t mean to target Ariana specifically, stans were not willing to forgive so easily.
