Taylor Swift Confronts ‘Glee’ Creator Ryan Murphy After TV Show Diss
Clearly, making friends isn’t exactly Taylor Swift‘s forte. Or the ability to take a joke for that matter. In recent weeks, the 23-year-old singer’s made headlines for enacting revenge on ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, basically telling Amy Poehler and Tina Fey they can go to hell, and fibbing about the amount of relationships she’s had the past three years.
Now, after PaleyFest 2013, we know that there’s another person on Taylor’s hit list: Ryan Murphy. At the panel for The New Normal, the Glee creator was asked a question from John Stamos, who acted as moderator, if he’s ever made fun of someone on a show, then had him or her confront him in real life. His response: “Other than Taylor Swift?” And then when pressed for details, “No, I can’t talk about that.”
On his series, Ryan’s known to take jabs at celebrities — Lindsay Lohan, for instance, has been the butt of the joke on more than one occasion on Glee — but, though no further details have been given thus far, Taylor’s obviously not laughing along. Feud alert?
Back in 2011, Ryan also got into an oral scuffle with Kings of Leon after the band denied the use of one of its songs on the FOX show. Ryan responded with a not-so-subtle “F–k you, Kings of Leon. They’re self-centered a******s and they missed the big picture.”
