Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron Reportedly In Talks to Join ‘Star Wars’ Reboot
Well this would basically be a dream come true. It's being reported that Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron — aka two of the best looking males on the planet — are both in talks to star in the upcoming J.J. Abrams reboot of Star Wars. Now, the reports are surfacing from Latino review, so there's a good possibility it could all be bogus.
Apparently, Ryan would play the son of Luke Skywalker, while the role Zac would be playing is as yet unknown. This Star Wars film — Episode 7 — would be taking place 30 years after the events Return of the Jedi. Many believe that this reboot was purposefully absent from Comic-Con this year, as they want to make some big announcements during Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim which will take place August 9 to the 11.
Even though the cast is unknown, the movie itself should be in good hands as J.J. successfully rebooted the entire Star Trek franchise. Also, this upcoming Star Wars film is being written by Michael Arndt who penned the script for Toy Story 3 and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
What do YOU think of this casting news? Do you think it's for real? Or total speculation? Sound off in the comments!
UPDATE: Ryan's reps deny via email that the Crazy, Stupid, Love actor has any association with the project, simply stating: "This is not true." So far, Zac's reps have denied comment.
