13 Reasons Why Star Leaves Sexual AF Comment About Selena Gomez on Insta

With 13 Reasons Why and Riverdale being two of the most successful teen dramas we’ve seen in a long time, it’s no wonder that Ross Butler, who starred on both during their respective first seasons, shot to fame super fast. Unfortunately, the actor now knows firsthand that with great success also comes great responsibility invasion.

Fans who follow the 27-year-old on Instagram were shocked when they saw that he commented something SUPER inappropriate about Selena Gomez, one of the Netflix hit’s producers, on HER BOYFRIEND’s picture. The note implied that the “Bad Liar” did something sexual on the 13RW set with someone other than The Weeknd.

Shortly after people began freaking the eff out, Ross signed on to Twitter to let them know he did NOT write the comment, but was rather the victim of a hack.

Justin Prentice was ALSO targeted by the hacker, and while he didn’t leave a sexual comment about the former Disney Channel star, he (re: his hacker) DID leave a mean comment on her own IG page.

The 23-year-old later revealed that while he and Ross were, in fact, hacked, they were eventually able to retake ownership of their accounts.

“Yes, Ross and I were hacked,” JP tweeted. “We have full control of our accounts again. Nothing but love for the people who were targeted.”

You know you’ve made it in Hollywood when…you get hacked! Sad.

No celebrity is safe from hackers…not even teenagers!
