Riverdale Actress Madelaine Petsch Denies Plastic Surgery Rumors
Before she nabbed the role of Cheryl Blossom on Riverdale, Madelaine Petsch was a relatively unknown actress trying to get her big break in Hollywood. But now that she stars on one of the most popular shows on television, the 23-year-old has MILLIONS of eyes on her on any given occasion. This, from a career standpoint, is absolutely amazing. From a person viewpoint, however, it’s a little more challenging.
Like most female celebrities, Madelaine is criticized for various reason on the daily, but people specifically like to call her out for allegedly getting plastic surgery all over her body. The redhead is known for her bigger-than-average lips, which are often a topic of discussion. She, however, vehemently denies ever going under the knife to alter her appearance.
“Yes, all the time,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine when asked if people question her lips’ size. “[They also ask] if my hair is real, if my eyelashes are real, my butt’s real. It’s constant. It’s all real. All natural, baby! And I’m a natural redhead.”
While MP’s natural features are now highly coveted, they actually got her teased as a kid.
She continued, “It’s funny because I was made fun of for it so much as a kid. I grew up in a small town, I was the only redhead other than my brother. We had South African accents, I was a vegan, I was raised without religion. I was just the weirdest kid in this small town, so I got made fun of a lot for it. My brother got stones thrown at him! So now I very much embrace it and want people to know I’m a natural redhead and proud of that.”
You tell ’em, Mads!
Some stars have to deny plastic surgery rumors ALLLL the freakin’ time:
